Our Philosophy
At Cape Pottery and Supply, we believe that pottery is as much about the process as it is about the final piece.
Our learning environment is built on the principles of patience, creative exploration, and a deep respect for the artisanal craft.
We strive to foster a warm, inclusive community where every student—from complete beginners to seasoned professionals—feels empowered to find their artistic voice through clay.

What Our Students Are Saying

“Such a beautiful place to get your artistic vibe going! So many wonderful classes to join.”
Betsy Alper
This is a wonderful studio with a wide selection of glazes, clay and tools. All of the staff is knowledgeable and helpful and they don’t mind being asked when I’m stuck on something. I recently brought my grand daughter in for a private with Jill and it was amazing! She learned so much and is throwing so much better after one lesson. If you’re looking to up your skills on the wheel, a lesson with Jill is money well spent!
Kimberlie Carpenter
I loved Cape Pottery! I took a class here and Lisa was so knowledgeable. They will take the time to make sure you are learning how to throw pottery well, then walk you through the steps of trimming and glazing. Truly a wonderful experience and place.
Ruth Brunton
“A hidden gem on Cape Cod. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly make beginners feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. The studio has such an inspiring, creative energy, and it is the perfect place to learn, explore, and fall in love with pottery.”
Tina Malooly
Visited for the Sunday open studio to paint ready-made pieces. It was a perfect way to spend a few hours. All ages - 5, 7, 11, 13, and 41- sat quietly with dozens of paints, brushes, and accessories as they worked on their masterpiece. Can’t wait to pick these up and see the finished products.
